THE FOUR THINGS I TELL MY PATIENTS
1. Most brightening ingredients fade existing pigment only. They don’t prevent new pigment forming. The cycle continues.
2. Sun isn’t the only trigger. Inflammation, a spot, a scratch, even a reaction can switch pigment cells on.
3. Heat is a trigger too. Hot showers, cooking, hairdryers, hot yoga. Independent of UV.
4. Pigment has memory. Once triggered, it responds faster and more aggressively. That’s why the same areas return.
